Weekend Warriors: AT Section Hike

Over the Easter weekend I had the privilege of section hiking part of the Appalachian Trail. Colt Freeman and I had a great time on our maiden AT trip. We started at Cole Mountain with our wives and then proceeded to hike 30 miles south to the James River Foot Bridge. All in all I would say this was a great first trip. Here are some shots:

Snow Fall

I do realize that this post may be a little late. However, i was digging through some recent memory cards and found these shots from a snowfall from this past winter. So, I thought what better way to celebrate spring then to give perspective of some cold weather. I do actually enjoy a good snowfall.
